  • East High
  • Hamilton High
  • Kirby High

Important Dates for Project Graduation

  • February 8 - April 15 - Semester 1 classes meet
  • April 19 - June 16 - Semester 2 classes meet
  • March 29 - April 2 - No classes meet/Spring Break

When do PG classes meet?

Not all courses meet every day and at every time, but general days/times are listed below:
  • Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday
  • 4-6 pm and 6-8 pm

Who can attend PG?

PG is for students in grades 9-12 and is mostly intended for students who have missing courses because they have gotten behind and for students who have failed courses and need to retake them. Occasionally students request to take courses to get ahead, but this requires a conversation with the student's grade level counselor.
  • 12th grade students who are behind on credits or are currently failing courses must attend PG in order to graduate in May.
  • Students are allowed to take new coursework in Project Graduation, but new coursework was NOT permitted last summer in summer school. If your student needs to take classes that they have never taken before, Project Graduation is the best option.
  • Students may NOT attend PG to graduate early unless there is a plan already in place that has been approved by the grade level counselor and GHS administration. It is too late in the year to request early graduation.

How does enrollment work?

If you would like to enroll your student in Project Graduation, please email the appropriate grade level counselor, who will complete the enrollment process for you.
